PROGRAM & SERVICES
Supportive Housing
The Waystar Flagship Project is committed to expanding its reach and impact through the development of supportive and subsidized housing initiatives. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals, veterans, and families facing housing insecurity.
Understanding Supportive Housing
To understand the concept of supportive housing, it’s essential to recognize its holistic approach to addressing the needs of vulnerable populations. Supportive housing combines affordable housing with supportive services tailored to individuals’ needs, such as mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, and life skills training. Additionally you can also read the article above for more information on what supportive housing entails.
Delivering Tailored Support
At Waystar, our Phase 1 comprehensive service model goes beyond providing living space. We aim to offer tailored support to individuals, empowering them to overcome barriers and rebuild their lives. This includes assistance in maintaining sobriety, healing from past traumas, and reestablishing connections with their families. Subsequently our team provides intensive services to help individuals secure and sustain employment, fostering self-sufficiency and independence, this occurs in phase II of our veteran program, learn more about the three phases here.
Driving Positive Outcomes
The Waystar Flagship Project is dedicated to driving positive outcomes for every individual we serve. Our goal is to achieve an 85% success rate, ensuring that each person we assist is in a better position than before receiving our aid. By providing stable housing and comprehensive support services, we aim to break the cycle of homelessness and empower individuals to thrive.
Aftercare Program
Our Aftercare Program plays a crucial role in supporting residents as they transition to independent living. Once individuals have achieved stability and income, the Aftercare Program assists them in identifying affordable housing options and navigating the transition process. Our dedicated counselors and liaisons continue to provide support for up to two years, helping “graduates” maintain sobriety and housing stability as they navigate their new circumstances.
